How To Make Keto Western Omelette with Cheesy Cream Sauce:

Step One:  Place a skillet on the stove over medium-high heat, and add 1 TBSP of oil

Step Two:  Cook the chopped onions and peppers in the heated skillet with oil for a few minutes until they begin to soften. 

Step Three:  In the skillet with onions and peppers, add the cubed ham and cook for another minute. 

Step Four:  Take your beaten eggs and pour them into the veggie and ham mixture, cooking them to the consistency that suits your tastes.  

Step Five:  Add salt and pepper to your liking and remove the egg mixture from the stove.

Step Six:  Over medium heat, place a small saucepan and melt 2 TBSP of butter.

Step Seven:  Add the heavy whipping cream to the melted butter

Step Eight:  Add your mozzarella and cheddar cheese and stir the mixture until melted and you have a creamy consistency.

Step Nine:  Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to your taste.  Continue to stir over medium heat until the thickness of your liking.

Step Ten:  Portion and serve egg mixture topped with cheesy cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • ¼ c Chopped onion
  • ½ c Chopped bell pepper
  • 5 oz. Cubed ham
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • ¼ c Heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ c Mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ c Cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add 1 tbsp oil to a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove.
  2. Mix in the chopped onions and peppers, and cook for a few minutes until they begin to soften.
  3. Add in the cubed ham, and cook for 1 minute more.
  4. Pour in the beaten eggs, and scramble until cooked to your liking.
  5. Mix in salt and pepper to taste, and remove the egg mixture from the stove.
  6. In a small saucepan, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat on the stove.
  7. Pour in the heavy whipping cream.
  8. Sprinkle in the mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and stir until smooth and creamy.
  9. Add in the garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir until thickened, and serve half of the egg mixture covered in half of the cheesy sauce.
