I use all three varieties of bell peppers in this recipe but if you don’t have all on hand or prefer one to the other, feel free to switch it up.

How to Make Keto Sausage and Pepper Bake:

Step 1: Begin by preheating the oven to 375 and greasing a baking pan.

Step 2: Chop sausage into bite-sized pieces. Place in baking pan.

Step 3: Roughly chop all bell peppers, keeping them approximately all the same size. Place in baking pan with the sausage.

Step 4: Add olive oil and salt and pepper. Toss well to coat.

Step 5: Top with cheeses.

Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes. The cheese should be brown and sausage thoroughly cooked.

  • ●       10 Mild Italian sausages
  • ●       1 Red bell pepper roughly chopped
  • ●       1 Green  bell pepper roughly chopped
  • ●       1 Yellow bell pepper roughly chopped
  • ●       1 c Shredded cheddar cheese
  • ●       1 c Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ●       1 tbsp Olive oil
  • ●       Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cut the Italian sausages into bite sized pieces, and place them into a well greased baking dish.
  3. Roughly chop the bell peppers into bite sized pieces and place them in the baking dish as well.
  4. Pour 1 tbsp of oil over the mixture in the baking dish, and add salt and pepper to taste. Toss to coat well.
  5. Top the mixture with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is browned and the sausage is cooked through.
