These Keto Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies take a favorite party appetizer to a whole new level. 

Little Smokies, miniature sausages, have long been a favorite party appetizer. Throughout my life they’ve been present at almost all gatherings, including every holiday party and New Year’s Eve. While Little Smokies themselves make a delicious appetizer, I like to upgrade them a bit, as I did with these Keto Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies.

Keto party appetizers can sometimes be difficult, especially when serving a big group. A lot of keto party appetizers require a lot of prep work that’s difficult to prepare when there’s a lot of people or keto ingredients that party guests may not be too familiar with.

These Keto Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies eliminate both of those problems. There are only 2 ingredients and they’re so easy to prepare that you can make a large batch with no problem. Even better, little smokies are an appetizer everyone likely already enjoys, so you know everyone will love this upgraded version.

I like to serve this Keto Little Smokies on a tray with toothpicks in each one. The toothpicks help the bacon stay in place and make it easier for guests to grab a few.

How To Make Keto Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies:

Step 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Step 2. Cut each piece of bacon into 4 thin slices.

Step 3. Wrap each little smokie in the bacon and place on a baking sheet.

Step 4. Bake for 30-40 minutes.

Step 5. Serve warm.


What variations can I make to this keto party appetizer?

I used regular little smokies to make this keto party appetizer. However, they do make several varieties and you could use any of them, as long as the carb content is appropriate. Personally, I think the cheddar version would be delicious in this keto bacon wrapped little smokies.

Can I store these keto little smokies?

 Keto Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies are best straight out of the oven, even as they begin to cool off. If you have leftovers, you can store them in the fridge and reheat in the oven or microwave, though the bacon texture will change. However, I find that there are rarely any leftovers!

How should I serve Keto Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies?

 As mentioned above, I prefer to serve these on a platter or tray with toothpicks in each one for easy grabbing and snacking. They are best when served warm.

Keto Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes

  • ●       30 Little Smokies Sausages
  • ●       8 Slices of bacon
  • ●       Swerve brown sugar substitute


  1. Preheat an oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Slice the bacon pieces in half lengthwise, and then in half again crosswise. This will create four thin strips of bacon from each slice.
  3. Wrap one small piece of bacon around each little smokie sausage.
  4. Place the wrapped sausages on a rack on top of a baking sheet, and bake for 30-40 minutes until the bacon is cooked through and the sausages are browned.
