Can Other Cuts of Beef Be Used In This Keto Steak Bites Recipe?
Yes, we recommended top sirloin in this recipe, however, you can use other cuts of meat such as Ribeye, New York Strip, or Beef Tenderloin. The flavor will go good on all cuts of beef so feel free to use whatever you have or can get cheapest at the store.
Can I Use Other Types of Meat in This Keto Steak Recipe?
This Filipino Style marinade would also taste delicious on chicken or pork. Follow the same instructions above to make the marinade and then simply adjust cooking time based on the protein you choose.
Do These Keto Steak Bites Freeze Well?
Yes, you can portion and freeze these marinated keto steak bites. You can freeze them before you cook them or after you cook them. If you freeze them after cooking, the best method is to sear them and do not cook them to total doneness so when you reheat them, either in a skillet or in the microwave, they are not overcooked or dry.
Can I Grill These Keto Steak Bites?
We recommend searing on the stovetop in this recipe but if you’d like to grill these keto steak bites, that is also an option. Ensure the pieces are big enough to not fall through the grate on the grill or you could even put them on kabob sticks and grill them that way. You will want to ensure that the grill is hot enough to sear the steaks but not burn them.
